Introduction to Open Water Swimming (Adults)

With our qualified open-water swimming coach, you will be provided with a safety briefing and then begin your journey in the water, and start to conquer your fears. Understand how water temperature can affect your skills, why not to fear weeds, and how to safely enter the water. Open water swimming, (or wild swimming), has seen a huge increase in popularity in the last 10 years, so don’t be left on the side. Also suitable if you plan to kayak or SUP, so you know what to expect if you do end up entering the water. Small groups ensure that you are looked after and gain the training that you require. Swim kit is required and water footwear could be an advantage, (wetsuit shoes or lightweight trainers). Wetsuits are optional. Warm dry clothing and a towel are required for after the session.
