Open Water Swimming – Adult Improver
Learn how to warm up pre-swim, bi-lateral breathing, sighting of marker buoys and when you should be taking on energy gels during a marathon swim. Did you know that even Olympic open water swimmers tend to swim 10% further and the normal swimmer will add 20% to an open water swim due to poor sighting and not swimming in a straight line.
Swim kit is required. Wetsuits & goggles are optional. Warm dry clothing and a towel are required for after the session. Please note: you must be able to swim at least 25m and be open-water confident
